Initiatives focused on maintaining and improving transportation within Region Nine and beyond.
Region Nine Development Commission (RNDC) works with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), local units of government, legislators, citizens and other organizations to bolster transportation facilities, options, and resources in South Central Minnesota. Through a planning assistance contract with MnDOT, RNDC provides technical support for transportation issues affecting our region.
At the heart of RNDC’s transportation efforts lies the Region Nine Transportation Advisory Committee, which is composed of elected officials and engineers, who oversee the general functions of the transportation program at RNDC.
