Lake Crystal surveys residents for economic development plan

LAKE CRYSTAL, Minn. (KEYC) – Lake Crystal is putting together an economic development plan, and they are asking for help from residents.

Lake Crystal’s economic development strategy will guide the city’s growth over the next five years.

The city has put together a short survey on their website for residents to take. You can access it from the city’s website at https://www.lakecrystalmn.org/surveys

City Administrator Taylor Gronau said, “It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete and it asks questions anywhere from where our residents and stakeholders most frequent in the city and what they would like to see move to Lake Crystal and what they would like the city to invest in.”

Residents can also attend a public open house at the City Hall community room on June 12th at 6 p.m.

The Region Nine development commission is also working with the city to compile the plan.
