in Tri-City United High School/by Region Nine

Event Details

  • Date: April 16, 2018 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Venue: Tri-City United High School

Montgomery is inviting community residents to come together for a community conversation on race. It’s Time to Talk: Forums on Race is a YWCA trademarked racial dialogue facilitation process utilizing trained facilitators to lead small table discussions on race. Participants exchange ideas during the introductory conversation in a nonthreatening environment.

This free public event will take place on Monday, April 16 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity to build community connections, grow professional development skills, learn new ways to think about race and more!

The forum will be held at the Tri-City United High School, 700 4th Street NW, Montgomery. Registration is required as space is limited. Register with the TCU Schools Community Education Office by phone at (507) 364-8110 or online www.tcu2905.us/page/4231. Registration is required by Monday, April 9.

This event is sponsored by Region Nine Development Commission in partnership with the YWCA Mankato, Tri-City United Community Education, and Greater Mankato Diversity Council with funding from the Blandin Foundation and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation.
