Aug. 12, 2016 – With mammoth solar arrays popping up in south central Minnesota and more being planned, two organizations have scheduled workshops aimed at shining light on the opportunities the community solar gardens present.
June 29, 2016 – On Wednesday, June 29th, six Mankato businesses received Dementia Friendly @ Work educational session presented by Mankato/North Mankato ACT on Alzheimer’s volunteers.

May 5, 2016 – Are you looking for ways to save money on your energy bill while also helping the environment? Benefitting from solar energy is no longer only available to those who can afford and utilize solar panels on their homes.
May 11, 2016 – At 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16, the Mankato/North Mankato ACT on Alzheimer’s team, dressed in purple attire, will be hitting the streets of North Riverfront Drive, Mankato and Belgrade Avenue, North Mankato to encourage local businesses to become more dementia friendly.
A month has passed since a ferocious fire destroyed eight businesses in the heart of downtown Madelia. A drive down Main Street still shows the sight of the ashen debris as a daily reminder.
