Social Media Policy

Region Nine social media administrators are responsible for policing and enforcing the Region Nine Public Terms of Use.


Region Nine reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed in violation of the Public Terms of Use or any applicable laws. Comments posted do not reflect the opinion of Region Nine. All postings should be relevant to Region Nine.


Social networking content or comments containing any of the following will not be allowed for posting:


– Comments or material not topically related to the site or article being commented upon
– Profane language or obscene content
– Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation
– Personal attacks, insults, or threatening language
– Plagiarized material; private, personal material published without consent; or potentially libelous material
– Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
– Advertising or promotional announcements
– Comments made related to political campaigns or ballot measures

Region Nine reserves the right to restrict or remove any content deemed in violation of the terms outlined.
